No. The Packable Rolltop is not waterproof; the shell is 210D and 600D RPET polyester without welded seams or waterproof coatings, and the rolltop closure is designed for compression and stowage rather than a watertight seal. For rain protection, the Kilometer Studios Rain Cover is available as a separate accessory that slips over the pack; for electronics, a dry bag liner inside the main compartment is also recommended.

The Packable Rolltop is constructed from 65% recycled materials. The shell combines 210D RPET polyester, 600D RPET polyester, and polyester webbing; shoulder straps and back panel are 210D RPET polyester; trims are POM plastic with no metal hardware. Total carbon footprint is 2.18 kg CO₂e.

The Packable Rolltop is built as a 14-liter travel day pack and backup bag. It packs into its own pocket for stowage in luggage, deploys as extra capacity for groceries or souvenirs, and carries day-trip essentials like a light jacket, water bottle, snacks, phone, wallet, and a small book. It is not designed for laptop commuting, heavy loads, or wet weather.
